Police in Dundee have appealed for information after two 'disturbances' involving the same 48-year-old man- including one where he was brutally beaten by a group of four.
Two unidentified women and the man were involved in the first altercation at a pub on the High Street in the Lochee area at around 3.45pm last Wednesday.
Cops have asked the two women to come forward and have issued descriptions.
The first woman is in her 30s, with long dark hair in a ponytail. The second has shoulder length hair and was wearing tracksuit trousers and a t-shirt.
A short time later the man was beaten up by a group of four, suffering head injuries which required treatment at Ninewells hospital.
Descriptions have also been issued of the group, who police are looking to trace.
The first is a man, aged 25 to 30-years-old, fair hair and approximately 6ft tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top and grey jogging trousers.
The second is a woman, aged 25 to 30-years-old, with 'dirty brown hair', around 5ft 5in tall and of large build.
She was wearing a red and white top with blue jeans.
The third is a woman, also aged between 25 to 30-years-old with dark hair.
A fourth person is a man, around 6ft tall, wearing a blue top, golden pendant and dark trousers. He had a black and white Staffie dog.
PC Alexander Gray said: “Our enquiries into both incidents are ongoing.
"I am appealing to members of the public who were in the areas on Wednesday afternoon or who has any information regarding either incident to contact us.
"Any small piece of information could assist us in our enquiries.”
A 48-year-old man was arrested and released pending further enquiry.
