Dundas Street incident: Cyclist taken to hospital following crash on busy Edinburgh road

A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after colliding with a parked car on Edinburgh's Dundas Street this morning.

Emergency services shut down Dundas Street in both directions at around 7.15am to deal with the incident, and they've confirmed that the male cyclist has now been taken to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Edinburgh Travel News tweeted earlier: "Dundas Street - slow traffic in both directions due to an RTC partially blocking the road after Great King Street.

"Emergency services in attendance. #edintravel."

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 7.15am on Tuesday, 24 November, 2020, police were called to a report of a cyclist having collided with a parked car in Dundas Street, Edinburgh.
