Gary Rogers has no plans to retire and will play on again next season.
The goalkeeper, 37, will be out of contract with Dundalk at the end of this campaign but hopes to earn a new deal at the champions.
Rogers, who has won three league titles and two FAI Cups since joining the Lilywhites before the 2015 season, said: “I’ll be playing on, absolutely and I make no secret of that.
“I'm really happy with my form and how I'm playing and long may that continue.
“I feel really good with all of the strength and conditioning we do and the way we’re asked to live our lives.
“I feel as good as ever and it's great to be playing for a top club.”
