Dundalk are refusing to rule out a move for former Tottenham and Rangers winger Nathan Oduaw.
The 24-year-old trained with the League of Ireland champions for one day last week.
Oduaw has a number of other options on the table but Dundalk are due to hold further talks with his representatives.
Oduaw is an England underage international having played at Under-17, Under-18, Under-20 and Under-23 level.
He is currently with Israeli club Hapoel Hadera and spent four years on the books of Spurs between 2013 and 2017 without making a first-team appearance.
Oduaw had loan spells with Luton Town, Colchester United, Rangers - for half a season - and Peterborough United.
He then had stints in Slovenia and Denmark before moving to Israel in January 2019.
