Duncan Ferguson sticks to his word as former Rangers and Everton star treats exam pep talk kid to well earned meal

Everton legend Duncan Ferguson has stuck to his word and treated two diehard Toffees fans to lunch after one of them delivered in his exam results.

A video posted back in April by Twitter user @JackSimmo1998 showed former Rangers and Dundee United man Big Dunc giving his little brother a few choice words ahead of exam season.

Speaking from the pitch at Goodison Park, Ferguson said: "Your teacher told me you've been f*****g slacking off. We can't be having that mate, you better get your finger out.

"Make sure you get the f*****g results, and if you get the results and you stick in I'll come and see you, and take you for a bit of lunch."

Nearly five months later, the older brother has posted an update.

And true to his word, Ferguson has now turned up at the pair's home and treated the Everton mad brothers to a meal out after he delivered in last month's results.

The update Tweet read: "Big Dunc sticking to his word after my brother got the results he needed in school and took him out for food. Made sure that I got invited to and not one of his mates!"
