Duncan Ferguson grabs two ball boys in wild celebrations as Everton beat Chelsea

Duncan Ferguson picked up and span two ball boys in the air as he passionately celebrated Everton's goals in the 3-1 win over Chelsea.

Ferguson took charge of his very first match at Goodison Park following Marco Silva's sacking, and got off to a winning start at the expense of Frank Lampard's Blues.

Richarlison opened the scoring for the Toffees in just the fifth minute when he channelled his inner Ferguson to head past Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin made it 2-0 after the break, and Ferguson was overcome with emotion.

Charging down the touchline, the Scot picked up an Everton ball boy and the duo celebrated the goal together as Goodison Park went wild.

Mateo Kovacic scored a screamer to reduce the deficit for Chelsea, but Calvert-Lewin secured the points six minutes before the end with a scrappy effort.

Ferguson again celebrated by charging down the touchline before picking up another ball boy and swinging him around.

The win sees Everton move out of the relegation zone and into fourteenth, just three points behind Tottenham in eighth.

Calvert-Lewin paid tribute to Ferguson after the match.

The English striker told BT Sport: "He stuck by me, I've known him for three years, that was my way of trying to repay him."

Ferguson added: "I was kissing everybody at one point."
