A soldier from West Dunbartonshire has died after falling from a hotel balcony in Warsaw.
25-year-old Cpl Ryan Lovatt was on a break from army duties in the Polish capital when he died.
Reports indicate that Cpl Lovatt fell 70ft from the seventh floor of a hotel in the early hours of August 1.
Cpl Lovatt was serving with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, with the BBC reporting that he was given a military funeral at Clydebank Crematorium on Wednesday (August 21).
An Army spokesman said his death was being investigated by Polish police, supported by the Royal Military Police.
