Dumfries Morrisons' community champion dons special face mask so customers can see her smile

Fun-loving Myra Smith has found a novel way to bring cheer to customers by donning a see through safety mask to show off her smile.

The popular 50-year-old Community Champion at Morrisons regularly keeps people’s spirits high despite the Covid-19 crisis.

Myra said: “I always have a smile for people and when I was on the bus coming into work the other week I smiled up to some passengers but there was no reaction.

“I realised they couldn’t see through my old mask to acknowledge me and when I shouted up that I was smiling they all laughed.

“So then I thought about a see through mask and got one off the internet.”
