Dumfries Lions Club and Marie Curie join forces for charity fashion show

Dumfries Lions Club is gearing up for a fundraising venture in collaboration with the Marie Curie cancer charity.

Big-hearted members are hosting a pre-loved fashion show on Thursday, November 3, at 7pm in St Andrew’s Church Hall in Brooke Street.

The volunteer models will be coasting the catwalk with all kinds of clothing from casual to work wear, bridal fashions to outer wear, and party glamour to special occasion garments.

The pre-loved clothing – which is being provided by the Marie Curie charity shop on the town’s High Street – will be available to purchase on the evening with all sales going to the worthy cause.

In addition, the proceeds of the ticket sales and a raffle will be split between Marie Curie and the Dumfries Adults Resource Centre.

Tickets, priced £5, will include light refreshments and are available now to buy from the Marie Curie shop or via the Dumfries Lions Facebook page.
