Dumfries greengrocer entertains customers with new version of Bohemian Rhapsody

Queuing customers at a Dumfries greengrocers have been kept entertained by joining in a sing-along to an iconic tune.

Elenna Parry of Parry Farm Produce in the Vennel has been urging folk waiting to buy their fruit and veg to have a laugh by singing her words to the tune of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.

Elenna changed the famous lyrics to: “Mama, just killed a yam, put a leek against its head, pulled the trigger now it’s dead.

“Goodbye sweet potato, it has bean fun, but now it’s time you end up in my tum!”

Good natured customers have enjoyed the light-hearted fun and Elenna said it’s “great to hear everyone joining in”.
