Dumfries couple celebrate diamond wedding anniversary

Dumfries couple Sam and Margaret Black celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary last Wednesday.

Sam and Margaret, nee McKinnell, tied the knot 60 years ago at Loreburn Church in the town followed by a reception at the County Hotel.

The pair, both aged 82, went on to have three children and now have nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

They were mine hosts at the Crown Hotel in Lockerbie before taking over the Moreig in Dumfries which they ran for more than 25 years.

They celebrated their big day with their family and are looking forward to many more happy years together.
