Dumfries and Galloway drivers warned to expect delays during latest A75 roadworks

Drivers are being warned that a convoy system will be in operation during the day and overnight on the A75 in Annandale later this week.

On behalf of Transport Scotland, Amey will be working on two trunk road management schemes between Gretna and Eastriggs.

The resurfacing works from Irvington Farm to Eastriggs Junction on the A75 start on Thursday at 6pm and finish at lunchtime on Saturday with a convoy system through the day and night to manage traffic.

There will be more disruption on Monday and Tuesday next week with a day and night time convoy system in place to manage traffic while
road markings work takes place on the A75 between Gretna and Eastriggs.

In addition, carriageway patching repairs will be carried out on the A7 near Langholm from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Thursday.
