Dumfries and Galloway coronavirus update for Monday, March 1

There were 12 new coronavirus cases across Dumfries and Galloway over the weekend.

It takes the total since the pandemic began to 4,040.

A further four cases were announced today, the same number as on Saturday and Sunday.

There are currently seven people in hospital, the same as yesterday, and less than five people are currently in intensive care.

Across Scotland, there were 386 new positive cases, taking the overall total to 202,470.

There are 824 people in hospital with 71 in intensive care.
