Dumfries and Galloway coronavirus stats for Thursday, September 24

Seven people in Dumfries and Galloway have tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

It takes the total number of cases in the region since the start of the pandemic to 367.

Of those, 54 cases have been since the start of September.

In the past day, 465 people have tested positive in Scotland, with the national total now standing at 25,960.

New regulations are set to come into force tomorrow in a bid to reduce the transmission rate.

Pubs and restaurants will have to shut at 10pm and people will not be allowed to visit other homes.
