Dumfries and Galloway coronavirus figures for Thursday, November 5

An additional 19 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Dumfries and Galloway in the past 24 hours.

It takes the number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 935.

There are NUMBER people in hospital, compared to six on Wednesday.

Figures from the region's healthboard show there were 93 cases between October 26 and November 1, down two on the previous week.

Data from National Records Scotland reveals that in the same period there were 10 deaths in the region where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.

Nationally, an additional 1,216 cases were announced today, taking the total to 69,660.

There are 1,252 people in hospital and 39 in intensive care.

A further 39 deaths have been revealed, taking the total to 2,966.
