The region’s total since the pandemic began now sits at 682.

On Saturday, there were 10 new cases with a further seven on Sunday. Monday added a further 12 to the total.

It means there have been 126 new cases in the past seven days, with the October figure now sitting at 271.

In Scotland, an additional 993 people tested positive, taking the figure to 47,708.

There were just 316 cases reported nationally on Sunday, which has been put down to capacity issues at the testing lab.
