Dumbarton supermarket cashes in on Prince Harry's first Father's Day

A Dumbarton supermarket is set to cash in on Prince Harry’s first Father’s Day with a quirky gingerbread man modelled on the royal.

To coincide with his first Father’s Day as a dad, Morrisons in Dumbarton is selling the gingerbread prince which mirrors the looks of the Earl of Dumbarton, in military uniform with ginger hair.

Harry and wife Meghan Markle, the Countess of Dumbarton, welcomed their first child, baby Archie, on May 6.

Morrisons cake shop manager John Cannan said: “We’ve created a special gingerbread biscuit to pay tribute to the royal couple, as they celebrate the prince’s first Father’s Day.

"We hope that dads across the country enjoy eating our gingerbread biscuits which are a popular product of our cake shop counters.”
