Dead mice and chicks were found dumped on the shore at Dumbarton.

Yesterday (Sunday), police were on site at the beach area close to Posties Park following the grim find.

And an investigation was launched in a bid to get to the bottom of the mystery.

A spokeswoman for West Dunbartonshire Council said: “If you are in the area, please keep your dog on a lead.”
