Dumbarton Quay flooded and Erskine Bridge shut to high sided vehicles

Cars were left stranded in Dumbarton Quay this afternoon as Storm Brendan hit West Dunbartonshire.

And the Erskine Bridge is currently closed to high-sided vehicles while gusts exceeding 50mph pass through the area.

These images show the Leven flooding the car park to the rear of High Street businesses earlier today.

Dumbarton Royal visit in doubt after Harry and Meghan's announcement

The Met Office had issued a yellow warning as the storm struck.
