Dumbarton Police Station is throwing its doors open to the public

Dumbarton Police Station is throwing open its doors on Saturday for its annual family day.

Residents of all ages are encouraged to go along to the free event, which will include plenty of fun activities for youngsters.

There will be several attractions including fingerprinting, SKapade (DJ) and Y Sort It.

Police dogs and horses will also be in attendance, as well as Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Police Scotland Mountain Rescue Team, Loch Lomond park rangers and NHS paramedic motorcyclists.

There will be also be a prize raffle with goodies donated from local businesses and all money raised will be donated to charity.

The event will take place between 10am and 2pm at the offices.

Due to the ongoing demolition of the former council buildings, there will be no parking facilities available.
