Dumbarton Health Centre patients warned clinics could be facing a backlog

Dumbarton Health Centre patients are being warned some clinics could be busier than usual after its closure yesterday (Wednesday).

The Lennox Herald reported online how Fire and Rescue Scotland forced the closure of the Station Road facility after what is believed to be a power surge.

Fire service closes Dumbarton Health Centre

The centre is open again as normal today.

An NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde spokesman said: "GPs and their teams will be working to provide a full service. 
   
"Some clinics may be busier with more patients in attendance and your patience is appreciated.
   
"Apologies again for any inconvenience."
