A Scots woman has celebrated 'leap day' by proposing to her boyfriend while dressed as a f ootball mascot .
Jen McKee decided to dress as Dumbarton mascot Pellie the elephant for the afternoon to surprise her boyfriend Bob Cowie.
Before kick-off Jen stood at pitch side to entertain the crowd as supporters took their seats ahead of the crunch tie between the Sons and Raith Rovers at The Rock .
Standing just yards from the pitch Jen was wrapped in a white banner that was unveiled by her pals .
It read: "Bob Cowie will you marry me? Jen."
After the unveiling she took off Pellie's head and got down on one knee to propose to Bob who was standing just yards away.
Thankfully for Jen, Bob said yes with the couple sealing the occasion by kissing pitch side.
The day was soured slightly for the pair after Raith conceded a last minute goal when Stuart Carswell scored for Dumbarton.
Despite the loss Raith still remain top of the league by one point.
