Duke of Edinburgh admitted to hospital and put 'under observation' after feeling unwell

The Duke of Edinburgh has been admitted to a hospital in London for observation, the Royal Family have confirmed.

Prince Phillip was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital after feeling unwell, and is expected to remain their for "few days" under observation.

Prince Philip, 99, who retired from official duties in 2017, has been staying at Windsor Castle with Her Majesty the Queen during lockdown.

In a statement, Buckingham Palace said: "His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh was admitted to the King Edward VII Hospital in London, on Tuesday evening.
