Duke Johnson’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, meets with the Browns

Prominent NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus was in Berea on Tuesday to meet with Browns GM John Dorsey on the eve of veterans reporting for the team’s training camp.

Several reports, including one from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, indicate Rosenhaus was in Cleveland to discuss the trade demands of his new client, running back Duke Johnson. Johnson fired his longtime agent and switched his representation to Rosenhaus earlier this month.

The veteran RB has stuck to his guns in wanting out of Cleveland since the Browns added 2017 NFL rushing champ Kareem Hunt over the winter. Dorsey and the Browns continue to insist the versatile Johnson is a valued member of the Cleveland offense.

Rosenhaus represents over 100 active NFL players, so it’s certainly possible the discussions expanded beyond Johnson’s situation in Cleveland.
