Yesterday, 247Sports Insider Sean Scherer gave Michigan State basketball the first Crystal Ball prediction for 5-star SG Max Christie. Today, 247Sports Duke Insider Chad Lykins gave the Spartans a second Crystal Ball prediction for Max Christie. Lykins gave this prediction a confidence level of 6/10.
According to current Crystal Ball predictions, Christie has an 86.7% chance of attending Duke and a 13.3% chance of attending Michigan State. According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Christie is the No. 1 SG in the national and the No. 1 player in Illinois’ 2021 recruiting class.
Spartan fans might be having flashbacks to Jabari Parker, who chose Duke over Michigan State for recruiting. Note, even Rivals’ writer Corey Evans says Max Christie is a “toss-up” but just might end up at Michigan State.
