Duke and Duchess of Cambridge release new photos to mark Prince George's birthday

Prince George turns seven today and to celebrate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released two new photos to mark his birthday.

His mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, took the photographs. She often takes pictures of her children and has previously shared photos taken during lockdown at their Norfolk home.

The Duchess is a noted photography enthusiast and it has become a Cambridge tradition for Kensington Palace to release the official portraits she takes to mark her children's birthdays every year. Many of her photo sets are taken outdoors at their homes.

In one picture, Prince George wears a polo shirt and in the other, he looks far more casual in a camouflage T-shirt.

Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born in the private Lindo Wing on July 22, 2013. He weighed eight pounds and six ounces.

He has been seen clapping for carers alongside his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, during lockdown.
