Rapper Duke Acapela has died at the age of 25 after reports he was shot, his manager has said.
Reports had circulated on Monday that the Chicago-based artist had been killed, and his manager, called official_ceokushent on Instagram, had denied it at the time.
But now, it's been confirmed that the rapper - who also goes by the name Lil Duke Chicago - has died.
Confirming the tragedy, Duke's manager wrote on social media on Tuesday evening: "Dis s**t is f**king me up bad we were supposed to shoot a video today wit zae how da f**k u gon gang!!!".
He added: "Please tell me dis a f**ken dream or some i can't take this pain… your sis told me you fought hard till ur last breath thank u for dat..
"I promise to God I'm gonna keep your name and music Alive I promise!!"
His death is yet to be confirmed by police.
Just hours before revealing Duke had tragically died, this manager had shared a picture of a candle, telling his friend to "hang in there" and asking people to pray for him.
Following the tragic confirmation, tributes for Duke started to pour in.
Fellow musician La Tone shared a picture of them together and penned: "Just got the call but I don't believe it gang u got this we ain't done slime."

"my heart can't take it no more," he wrote in a second heartbreaking post.
And people quickly took to Duke's last Instagram post - made four days ago - to pay tribute.
"Wow bro no," one shocked follower posted.
Another wrote: "Living legend gone to soon"
While a third commented: "Damn Hope this ain’t True"
Duke earned more than 12,000 followers on YouTube after he began posting music videos in 2019, and has over 10million views in total on his clips.
