Dueling predictions for Cardinals vs. Seahawks in Week 4

The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks will play their first division game of the season Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. at State Farm Stadium. The game will air on FOX.

The Cardinals seek their first win of the season and first win for rookie quarterback Kyler Murray and head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

How will things play out?

As we do every week, we give you dueling predictions for the game. I give my prediction and so does a writer from the opposing team. This week, it is Seahawks Wire managing editor Liz Matthews.

What are our picks and predictions?

Liz Matthews: Seahawks 24, Cardinals 17

Seattle hasn’t lost in Arizona since the season opener in 2012, which was Wilson’s first NFL game. The Seahawks suffered a huge loss against the Saints and need to notch a divisional win on the road.

Jess Root: Seahawks 27, Cardinals 24

The Cardinals get things back on track and are able to hang with a tough Seattle team. However, in a battle of quarterbacks capable of fourth-quarter magic, Russell Wilson gets the upper hand as the Seahawks get a go-ahead field goal in the final minute. The Cardinals have to wait at least another week to get their first win of the season.
