Dueling picks for Cardinals vs. Giants in Week 7

The Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants face one another in Week 7. The Giants, according to BetMGM, are favored by 2.5 points at home. The Cardinals, though, are coming off two straight wins and have not lost in the month of October.

The Giants get back running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Evan Ingram. The Cardinals have both running back David Johnson and receiver Christian Kirk as officially questionable for the game.

So how will this game play out? It is time to make picks and predictions. Giants Wire managing editor Dan Benton and I both give our predictions for this Week 7 NFC matchup.

Giants Wire: Giants 23, Cardinals 17

These are two rebuilding teams relying heavily on younger players, which has resulted in some less-than-stellar play this season. However, the Giants seem to have made more progress to this point. A long trip and early start add difficulty for the Cardinals. As a result, I think the game will be close, but lower scoring than many are predicting despite a lot of yards being put up.

Cards Wire: Cardinals 37, Giants 27

Both teams have struggled a lot defensively. The Cardinals offense is rolling right now and is scoring. The Giants will score points with Barkley and Engram back. It will come down to a Daniel Jones interception in the fourth quarter, which would be the first of the year for the Cardinals defense. It is a shootout and the Cardinals pull away late because of the turnover.
