I keep wanting to attend Illinois Ducks Unlimited’s “Ducks at the Track, Super Quick 66 Gun Raffle.” It just sounds like one of those big doings I should be at. Plus it is an interesting setting in Garage 1 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet. (I have only been to the Speedway once, to cover a Danica Patrick news conference in a pinch for the Sun-Times.)
But again this year, I cannot make it work schedule-wise on Saturday for the fourth “Ducks at the Track.”
Hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $25 ($30 if you wait to buy at the door). That includes admission, Super 66 Gun Raffle entry and lunch/beverage, The gun raffle starts at noon.
