Meghan shares rare new photos of Archie to mark his seventh birthday

The Duchess of Sussex has marked her son Archie’s seventh birthday, sharing a rare photograph and a message for her "sweet boy".

Archie, the first child of Meghan and Harry, was born on May 6 2019 at Portland Hospital in London. On Instagram on Wednesday, Meghan wrote: "7 years later… happy birthday to our sweet boy."

Meghan and Harry moved to California in 2020, after initially setting up home in Canada following their departure from the UK, and live in Montecito with their children.

On her son’s birthday, the duchess posted a picture of a printed photograph of Harry holding Archie as a baby.

Meghan also shared a picture of Archie and his younger sister, Lilibet, four, walking along a beach.

The Duchess of Sussex stepped back from being a senior working royal for a new life in the US when Prince Archie of Sussex was 10 months old.

Meghan has shared videos of her family through her Instagram account. Late last month, she captured her four-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet collecting eggs from chickens at their Montecito home.

Meghan is seen tending to their flock and walking through the coop with chocolatier Jonathan Grahm.

Princess Lilibet can be heard shouting, "Mum, I got another gray one!" referring to the eggs she was collecting.

When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned from their four-day visit to Australia last month, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet delivered a heartwarming surprise to their parents, leaving a "Welcome Home" note upon their arrival.

Meghan shared footage on depicting a "Welcome Home" banner adorning their front door, accompanied by gifts and letters from Australian well-wishers.

One touching message for Princess Lilibet read: "May your world always be as bright and beautiful as the colours you choose."

The couple had embarked on their first trip to Australia since their 2018 royal tour, landing in Melbourne last Tuesday, with their itinerary covering Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney.
