Duchess of Cambridge's favourite brand Emilia Wickstead launches collection modelled by female entrepreneurs

Emilia Wickstead has launched an exclusive 17-piece collection today on MatchesFashion.

The holiday capsule, which is inspired by the English countryside, is called This Woman's Work and Wickstead handpicked eight female entrepreneurs to model the pieces.

“When it came to thinking about the shoot, I felt it was incredibly important to capture this particular moment in time," Wickstead says of the line. "I wanted to celebrate the youth of businesses at their best by making hardworking and resilient women the focus. Photographed are eight innovative entrepreneurs wearing the collection in their own gardens. Each of these women have founded their own unique and inspiring businesses that are disrupting the market. I am so proud to be able to tell their stories alongside my own.”

Among the women featured in the campaign are Abi Oyepitan and Lina Okunniwa, the founders of African-inspired Liha Beauty and Kelly-Jade Nicholls, the founder of Woke Babies, a subscription service which aims to diversify the children's literary scene.

Wickstead founded her eponymous brand in 2008 and has been worn by everybody from Gigi Hadid and Alexa Chung to Samantha Cameron and the Duchess of Cambridge, who most recently sported the brand on a visit to the home of Gavin & Stacey.
