The Marie-Louise midi dress sold out instantaneously when the duchess sported it at the end of June for a visit to The Nook children's hospice in Norfolk.
Showing the 'Kate effect' in full force, global fashion platform Lyst noted that searches for Faithfull the Brand spiked 512 per cent on the day the images of Kate were released, while searches for floral dresses were up 21 per cent in the week following the dress's debut.
