Duchess of Cambridge follows Meghan's example with identical tribute to Diana

Proving that she's got a green finger, the Duchess of Cambridge's garden for the Chelsea Flower Show was recently unveiled to much delight.

Kate chose a theme of Back to Nature for her plot, inspired by the Japanese practise of forest bathing, which encourages people to walk slowly through woodland and bathe in its peace.

The mum-of-three also made sure she had some fun, and playfully posed for a photo on a rope swing.

This was just one of a few sweet details in the garden, as the Duchess also took the opportunity to pay tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

Bunches of Forget-Me-Nots feature in the plot, which were Diana's favourite flowers.

The touching nod to the Princess of Wales may seem slightly familiar.

For Mother's Day in the US, Meghan Markle shared a second picture of son Archie, where she was seen cupping his tiny feet.

In the background of the image shared to Instagram you can see a splay of Forget-Me-Nots.

It didn't take long for fans to pick up on Meghan's tribute.

Why Princess Beatrice's date at Lady Gabriella's wedding is actually a very big deal

One wrote: "Are those forget me nots in the background? Diana’s favourite flower? Touching. Happy Mother’s Day," one replied.

"Wait! Just realised those are Princess Diana's favourite flowers in the background," added another with a crying emoji.

Nothing gets past these royal fans.
