A Dublin man living in Canada has learnt a harsh lesson after trying to match the locals in a game of ice-hockey.
Donaghmede man Aaron McCann showed off some monster bruising after taking to the rink without any experience.
The plucky 27-year-old uploaded the pic and jokingly warned others not saying: "When you're not from Canada but try to play ice hockey."
Shamefully, "double A-ron" didn't heed his own advice and simply taped some pads and pillows to the wound and went back out there.
Friends at home were quick to take the mick out of his Bambi attempts with Peter Bryan asking: "When does Canadian Dancing on Ice hit Irish TV?".
Lee McGlone wouldn't leave Aaron alone either, saying: "Looks like a painting. Take a picture, frame it, sell it. Spend the money on ice-skating lessons."
