Dublin Zoo offering half entry this weekend to celebrate World Animal Day

If you're a big fan of Dublin Zoo then this is your lucky weekend because entry will be half price to the much-loved spot this Saturday and Sunday.

Entry prices will be slashed as part of the celebrations for World Animal Day, and there will be a host of fun activities for the whole family as well.

World Animal Day is a social movement charged with the mission of raising the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe.

While the day itself is celebrated on October 4, the zoo isholdingg the celebrations on the 5 and 6, as well as October 12 and 13.

Entry for that weekend will be half price as well.

Activities taking place include arts and crafts, face painting and talks from keepers which gives people the opportunity to learn plenty of interesting facts.

Tickets must be purchased in person at the Dublin Zoo ticket office and not online.

Discounted tickets apply to full price adult, child and family tickets only.

This offer does not include groups and concessions.

Dublin Zoo opens daily from 9.30am-5.30pm.
