Rain, rain, rain and a little bit more rain...that's what we have to look forward to this weekend and into next week.
There isn't one day in Met Eireann's long-range forecast that does not contain that four letter word.
But, it's not all bad news because Met Eireann has forecast an unexpected temperature burst at the start of next week.
They say that although Tuesday will start off with... you guessed it heavy RAIN, the Celsius will break into a not-bad looking 22C.
So, it'll be a similar day to the one we had in Dublin this week on Wednesday - drenched in the morning and able to sunbathe in the evening.
As for today, this morning will be dry with sunny spells with scattered showers coming in the evening and afternoon.
Temperatures of 17C will dip to a low 7C overnight but will remain dry with clear spells.
Here's how the weekend and next few days are looking:
Tomorrow : "Saturday morning will be mainly dry with bright or sunny spells. The afternoon and evening will be somewhat cloudier with showers. Cool and breezy with highest temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees, and moderate to fresh westerly winds."
Sunday: " The morning will be mainly dry and bright with sunny spells. There'll be some showers in the west. These will spread eastwards and become more widespread in the afternoon. They'll mostly die out by nightfall. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light to moderate westerly breezes. Monday night will be mainly dry. However, rain will develop in the west overnight."
Monday: "It will be mostly cloudy with rain spreading eastwards across the country through the morning. There'll be further outbreaks of rain for the rest of the day and on Monday night. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees with moderate southwest breezes."
Tuesday: "It will continue mostly cloudy with outbreaks of rain. Later in the day and on Tuesday night, rain will gradually clear southeastwards with clear spells and scattered showers following. Mild with highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees and moderate southwest breezes."
Wednesday : "It will be a cooler, fresher bright day with good sunny spells and scattered showers, these mainly in the west. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate west to northwest breezes."
Further outlook : "Current indications suggest that while much of Thursday will be mainly dry, but that rain will spread from the west on Thursday night and continue for a time on Friday with showers following for next weekend."
