A yellow warning for thunderstorms has been issued by Met Eireann and they're going to hit Dublin today.
The warning kicked off at 1pm today and will continue through to at least 10pm tonight.
All of Leinster will be affected by the noisy downpour as well as Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan and Munster.
Met Eireann says: "Scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, with a risk of hail and localised spot flooding."
Today's forecast warns: "Scattered showers will develop this afternoon becoming heavy at times with a risk of hail. There will be a good deal of cloud but there will be some brighter intervals too. The showers will continue into early evening, gradually becoming more isolated later. Highest afternoon temperatures of 13 degrees Celsius in light easterly or variable breezes."
While conditions are expected to clear tonight with just passing showers.
As for Thursday we're looking toward mix of sunny spells and a few showers. Scattered showers will develop later in the morning and into the afternoon becoming heavy at times.
