Met Eireann has confirmed that there will be a 14C temperature SWING in Ireland over the next coming days.
The weekend will see unusually high temperatures for this time of year but come Monday, temperatures in the night will have dipped to 0C again.
Saturday will be wild and breezy with mostly cloudy skies and a few patches of mist and drizzle.
Temperatures will hit around 12C in fresh and gusty southerly breezes and will still remain in double digits in the night time.
Sunday will be a mostly dry day with a mix of cloud and bright or sunny spells.
It will be very mild with maximum temperatures reaching 14C in moderate southerly winds with nighttime temperatures dipping to around 5C in south Leinster.
The weather will be a little more changeable next week but will remain drier and milder than average overall.
For Monday, Met Eireann says: "A fragmenting cold front will bring patchy rain to the northern half of the country on Monday but it will be mainly dry further south.
"Highest afternoon temperatures ranging 7 degrees in north Ulster to 10 or 11 degrees elsewhere.
"There will be a few patches of rain about overnight with lowest temperatures of 0 to 3 degrees."
As well as this, there is also a Status Yellow Gale Warning and a Status Yellow Small Craft warning in place by Met Eireann.
The Gale Warning means: "Southerly winds will reach gale force at times today on Irish coastal waters from Mizen Head to Slyne Head to Malin Head.
While the Craft Warning states: "Southerly winds will reach force 6 or higher today on Irish coasts from Malin Head to Wicklow Head to Mizen Head."
