Met Eireann has forecast two days of 20C+ in Dublin as a big change hits the country on the first day of September.
Brighter weather and drier conditions are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures then remaining in the high teens for the rest of the week.
Tuesday will start cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle becoming dry and bright by afternoon and evening with temperatures of 20C.
There will be a dry start to the night with rain developing becoming heavy at times with temps dropping to around 12C.
Here's how the rest of the week is looking:
Wednesday: "Tomorrow will start out with heavy rain. Drier conditions to the west will extend eastward through the morning with the rain expected to clear the east coast by lunchtime. Highest temperatures 20 or 21 degrees with fresh to strong southerly winds."
Thursday: "A moderate to fresh southwest wind will prevail and there'll be sunny spells and scattered showers, the showers most frequent in the west of the country. Afternoon temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees with temperatures falling to 10 or 11 degrees overnight as winds ease somewhat. It'll be mostly dry overnight with showers becoming isolated in the west."
Friday and Saturday: "Little change these days with sunny spells and scattred showers both days, the showers most frequent in the west of the country and the best of sunny spells in the southeast. Temperatures will be between 15 and 17 degrees both afternoons and falling to between 8 and 11 degrees both nights, winds will be moderate to fresh westerly initially but by Saturday will be light to moderate southwesterly.
Weekend: "Current indications suggest a ridge of high pressure will build for Sunday with mainly dry weather becoming established with light northerly winds. Staying on the cool side for the time of year."
