A dark and gloomy morning in Dublin after a pretty wet and windy finish to the weekend - and there's more to come.
While things may seem bright and dry to begin Monday morning, the clouds are set to appear and the rain will fall this afternoon.
Expect it to be pretty persistent and probably even heavy, ensuring that lunchtime will be a right wash out.
It's going to clear up a little bit this evening, but won't completely stop with wind and more rain coming tonight.
Met Eireann says: "Dry and bright to begin today, but cloud will thicken and rain will develop from late morning in a strengthening southeasterly wind.
"The rain will be persistent and possibly heavy for a time this afternoon, but it will clear later this evening with just a few showers following. Top temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees.
"Fresh to strong and gusty southeasterly winds will ease down in the evening.
"Showers will continue to feed up from the south tonight, but there will be some dry intervals too.
"Mild, with lows of around 12 or 13 degrees in mostly light south to southeast winds. Mist and fog patches will occur."
As for the rest of the week, current indications are that the ever-changing conditions will continue not only in Dublin but across Ireland.
Tuesday has more rain on the cards although temperatures are expected to reach around 19C at their highest.
Meanwhile Wednesday will bring a wet mid-week slump in an indication of what's to come later this week.
Met Eireann continued: "Unsettled weather for the rest of the week, with above average rainfall in most parts. Temperatures will be around normal, or a little above."
