Dublin weather today: Met Eireann predicts 19C this weekend but big change is on the way

A warm weekend is in store as Met Eireann has predicted temperatures as high as 19C but not for long.

While the weekend is set to be warm and dry, the summer weather isn't going to last as the national forecaster has warned of heavy rains and spot flooding.

Today will be dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, although there might be a few light showers.

Dublin will see highest temperatures of 17C to 18C.

Dry conditions will continue into tonight with temperatures of 5C to 9C.

Tomorrow's weather will be a warm and humid day with temperatures of 17C to 19C with some sunny spells.

But things are set to change as mixed and unsettled weather will bring heavy falls of rain.

Tomorrow night will see persistent rain and spot flooding with temperatures of 9C to 12C.

Monday will start off dry with any overnight rain clearing away quickly and will bring sunny spells and scattered blustery showers that may turn heavy with temperature ranging between 14C to 17C.

Monday night will be cold with temperatures hitting the lows of 3C.
