Dublin weather: Met Eireann predicts grim day for capital as four WEATHER WARNINGS in place for Ireland

Met Eireann have issued a status orange weather warning for parts of Ireland, and they have also said that Dublin is set to be wet and windy over the next few days.

The forecasters have said issues three warnings, a status orange rainfall warning and a status yellow rainfall and status yellow wind warning.

The orange warning is in place from Saturday 13 April at 6pm until Monday 15 April at 6pm.

Monday is set to be pretty grim, with them saying: "Tomorrow, Monday will be another cloudy and windy day with scattered outbreaks of rain developing. Highest afternoon temperatures of 8 to 9 degrees are expected.

"Southeasterly winds will be strong and gusty in the morning and afternoon, possibly reaching gale force in coastal areas, but will gradually ease towards evening."

"On Monday night, rain will gradually become confined to Eastern coastal areas and the strong winds will ease. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees."

As for Tuesday, it'll be more of the same: "Tuesday will still bring a little patchy rain or showers to parts but there will be a good deal of dry weather overall with the West seeing the best of the brighter spells.

"Afternoon highs of 9 or 10 degrees in eastern areas but 13 to 15 degrees in the west and winds will be moderate Southeasterly. Tuesday night will be cold with possibly some mist or patchy fog developing in places and a touch of grass frost locally."
