Dublin weather: Summer is finally here as temperatures set to soar to 25C

Summer is well and truly here as mercury is set to spike to a hot 25C this week.

Today will be another warm day with sunny spells and the highs of 20C but it may be a little cooler at the beaches, according to Met Eireann.

Tonight will be mild with temperatures of 11C to 13C and dry with clear skies.

It will be a hot day tomorrow as temperatures will jump to 25C in the afternoon away from the coast.

It’ll be 20C on the coast.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: “The outlook for tomorrow night is for a dry, clear night with lowest temperatures of between 10C and 13C in a light southerly breeze.”

Friday

It will be dry and sunny on Friday too with temperatures once again as high as 25C through Connacht, Ulster and north Leinster, and more typically around 20C in Munster and south Leinster due to a moderate southerly wind.

“There is a chance of showers along western coastal areas on Friday evening into Friday night.”

Saturday and Sunday

“Saturday and the rest of the weekend continue in the same vein with dry, sunny weather, light to moderate southeast winds and temperatures in the mid to high twenties widely across the country.

“Overnight lowest temperatures of 9C to 11C with the warm dry spell looking to continue into next week.”
