The whole country has been given a boost of summer hope as Met Eireann forecast when Dublin and the rest of Ireland will return to 20C+ temperatures this week.
This follows a weather advisory and warnings for the capital for thundery downpours and wind over the weekend.
While temperatures flirt around the high teens all week, the National Forecast says that Thursday will see some bright and sunny spells with the Celsius hopping into the twenties.
For today, it will be mainly dry and bright with sunny spells and the small chance of scattered showers.
Temperatures of 18C will dip to 9C but remain dry and clear with the odd outbreak of rain and drizzle.
Here's how the long-range forecast looks for the moment:
Tuesday: "It will be cloudy, with occasional outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Mist and fog patches on hills and on the coast also. Maximum temperatures 16 to 18 Celsius, in light to moderate southerly winds, later veering southwest.
Wednesday: "Mostly cloudy, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, mainly in the southern half of the country, persistent in southern coastal areas. There will be good dry intervals in the northern half of the country, with some bright spells developing, especially in the north and northwest. Max. 15 to 19 Celsius, in light northeasterly or variable breezes. Mainly dry overnight, but some further patches of rain and drizzle are possible in southern coastal counties. Mist and fog patches also in near clam conditions."
Thursday: "Mainly dry, with some bright or sunny spells developing, especially in the northern half of the country, but cloudier in the south, with some patchy light rain or drizzle possible at first in southern coastal counties. Max. 15 to 20 Celsius, in light northerly or variable breezes."
Friday: "Dry in most areas, with sunny spells, but a few scattered showers are likely, mainly in Ulster. Max. 14 to 18 Celsius, in light northwesterly breezes."
Further Outlook (Saturday to Monday, inclusive): "Current indications suggest that it will be dry and settled, with a mix of cloud and sunny spells and light winds. Gradually becoming a little warmer also for the early days of next week."
