Sleet, hail, thunder, and possible snow is on the cards for Dublin, Met Eireann have warned.
The forecaster has warned that Thursday will see heavy persistent showers as chilly temperatures have gripped the capital.

Tonight could also drop down to -1C while they say there's a risk of hail and thunder over the day.
They said: "A cold and breezy day. Scattered outbreaks of rain, turning heavy and persistent at times, especially closer to the coast.

"Risk of hail and thunder, with some sleet and possible hill-snow.
"Some sunny spells at times too. Feeling raw once again, with highs of only 5 to 7 degrees Celsius, in moderate to fresh and gusty northeasterly winds. Whilst the winds will ease later, misty conditions will set-in inland.

"Scattered falls of rain overnight with the ongoing risk of local hail and thunder. Long dry spells occurring too, but rather misty, with a frost where skies clear.

"Cold, with lowest temperatures of -1 to +2 degrees Celsius. Breezy up along the east coast, but calm generally elsewhere. Heavy rain will move in again towards morning.
Tomorrow won't be much different sadly, but they have said temperatures will improve "a little".

They said: "Outbreaks of rain and local sleet affecting early Friday morning, will clear into the afternoon with some sunny spells developing. However further heavy rain will occur later in the evening. Temperatures improving a little on recent days. Highs of 8 to 10 degrees Celsius, in sometimes brisk easterly breezes."
