Dublin will see a return of summer at the weekend with temperatures that we experienced in May coming back to keep us warm but sadly it won't last.
Despite two days of 20C+ weather on Saturday and Sunday with sunny spells, Met Eireann is predicting more "changeable" conditions from Monday onwards with rain coming back.
And if that's the case, the weekend is going to sandwiched in between days of miserable weather.
Today will be mostly cloudy with patchy mist and drizzle for a time.
Sunny spells will develop but it'll be followed by heavy showers which will occur later today.
Temperatures of 17C will drop to a rather cold 4C overnight with showers and chilly conditions.
Here's how the next few days are looking according to Met Eireann:
FRIDAY: "Sunny spells and scattered showers, driest early on and later in the evening. Feeling fresh in moderate northwest breezes; highest temperatures of 16 or 17 degrees Celsius."
SATURDAY: "A largely dry day across the country with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells, and just isolated light showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 or 20 degrees Celsius (best values across Leinster and the east of Munster), in just light westerly breezes."
SUNDAY: "Current indications suggest it will be mainly dry and mild across much of Munster and Leinster with sunny spells; highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees Celsius. However, it will be cloudier across the north and west with outbreaks of rain gradually moving in off the Atlantic; highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. Southerly winds will be mostly moderate, and fresh up along Atlantic coasts."
FURTHER OUTLOOK: "At present some rain is expected on Monday with changeable conditions into midweek."
