Met Eireann say that Dublin will be plagued with bad conditions for the next few days as the country battles between rainy and sunny spells for the week.
Today will see a dry start with sunny spells for a time but cloud will build and rain will hit by afternoon.
Temperatures of 13C with more heavy rain, drops to a low 7C overnight as the rain clears by morning.
And that's the general pattern of weather in Dublin this week with rain stealing the sunshine limelight whenever it can get a chance.
Here's how the next few days are looking according to Met Eireann:
Tomorrow: "Thursday will be mainly dry with just a few showers in the morning and good sunny spells later. Highest temperatures 10 to 12 degrees with light to moderate northwest winds."
Friday
Saturday: "It will be mainly dry with light to moderate northwest winds. There'll be a few showers in the northwest early on, these dying out as the day goes on. Temperatures unchanged generally, between 11 and 13 degrees at best, falling to between 3 and 5 degrees in clear skies overnight."
Next week: "Sunday will stay largely dry with sunny spells and mainly light winds. Current indications suggest winds on Sunday night will back southerly and there'll be a spell of rain Sunday night in to Monday. The further outlook in to the early days of next week is for mainly settled conditions."
