Met Eireann is forecasting two days of 20C+ temperatures for the country this week as Summer begins to return to Dublin.
A current forecast from Met Eireann suggests that the weekend will be cooler and fresher with a mix of cloud and sunny spells and the odd shower.
But, Thursday and Friday will see the Mercury rise inside those glorious double digits - Thursday will rise to as high as 22C with Friday seeing spells of 21C and it will be warmest in Leinster.
Today will be dry to start, but cloud will increase alongside outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
Some persistent falls are likely with highest temperatures of 15C only dropping to 12C overnight but remaining wet and cloudy.
There is also a small yellow craft warning in place for the country.
This means "west to northwest winds will occasionally reach force 6 this afternoon and evening on coasts from Roches Point to Erris Head to Malin Head."
Here's how the rest of the week is looking according to Met Eireann:
Tomorrow : "Wednesday will be mild and mostly cloudy with a fair amount of dry weather, but some patchy rain or drizzle also. There may be a few bright intervals in places. Highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees with moderate west to northwesterly breezes.
Thursday : "It will continue mild, humid and mostly cloudy. Many areas will be dry but there will be a little patchy light rain or drizzle in places. A few bright or short sunny spells may occur here and there also especially in the east. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees over the western half of the country and reaching 21 or 22 degrees in the east with moderate west to southwesterly breezes, fresher near to Atlantic coasts. On Thursday evening and night, more persistent rain will develop in the northwest."
Friday : "It will start off dry in Leinster and Munster. However, rain and drizzle in the northwest will spread across the country through the day, becoming light and patchy as it does so with parts of the east and south staying dry until late-evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees, warmest in Leinster where it should brighten up at times, with light southwest breezes."
