A wet start to the morning in Dublin but that's set to quickly clear as we look to a dry day in the capital.
There will be quite a bit of cloud throughout the day and we can expect some mist throughout the morning.
But then the sunshine is set to appear as the day goes on.
Despite this, temperatures will only reach a maximum of 7C on a cool day.
And tonight will see them drop as low as 0C with frost set to settle on the ground.
Met Eireann says: "Rain and drizzle will quickly clear eastwards and it will become mainly dry. Quite cloudy today and misty at first but some bright spells will break through as the day goes on. A cool day with highs of 5 to 7 degrees in light breezes.
"Mainly dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Cold with lows of 0 to 2 degrees and frost forming. Westerly winds will be light with some mist and fog patches forming."
We can expect more of the same heading into Friday, with a cold and frosty start leading to spells of sunshine.
There will be a little bit of patchy rain heading into the evening time, and the wind will make a return.
Temperatures are going to max out at around 9C.
Met Eireann continued: "Any mist patches will quickly clear and tomorrow will start off cold and frosty with good spells of sunshine.
"Cloud will thicken later in the day bringing some light patchy rain towards evening. Becoming increasingly windy through the day with moderate southerly winds increasing strong and gusty by evening. Highs of 8 or 9 degrees."
